Real quick, I have set a new goal for this month: I want to plant something everyday!
Every February I practice frugal grocery planning, eating up things in the pantry and freezer and only buying a small amount of groceries. As part of that this year, I am also trying to cut back on the number of seeds I buy, instead using what I have in my collection to grow this year’s garden. This is probably a more difficult challenge, as I have to avoid seed catalogs (so tough-I get new ones nearly everyday)!
So far I have planted peas, transplanted asparagus, planted tons of root vegatables-turnips, beets, and several types of radish-and started three kinds of tomatoes and two kinds of peppers. I am very excited for the new season!
Best wishes on everyone’s growing!
